Salvation prayer

Do you want to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour and enter a living relationship with Him? We encourage you to pray this prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me and dying on the cross to pay the price for my sin. I believe You are the Son of God, my Saviour. I receive the forgiveness Your blood bought for me. Thank you that I don’t have to live my life without You anymore. You live in my heart through the Holy Spirit. Because of Your finished work on the cross I have an abundant and eternal life from today and into heaven. Thank you, Father, that I am now Your beloved child. Amen.

You are now God’s child! Read these Scriptures to be sure that you are saved: John 1:12 – those who believe in Him, are His children, 1 John 5:12-13 – you can know that you have eternal life, John 10:27-28 – no one can snatch you out of His hand.

Staying blessed in times of famine

We are living in troubled times, but for the Believer that doesn’t mean that we have to despair. The only place of security and stability on this earth is THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH! Even though that is a strong statement, we must remember Jesus’ relationship with His Church. It is His bride. It is the place He is building. It is the one He is coming back for.

My friend, don’t take God’s House for granted! Why do you think the devil is putting up such a fight to keep you out of and away from the church? (Be honest now!) Because he is afraid of the church! He wants to keep you isolated and “comfortable”.

Do you want to know how you can be blessed in times of famine? Stay connected to the Local Church where God has planted you (Psalm 92:13-15)! I believe it is God’s heart’s desire that we stay connected to our local church: physically, spiritually and emotionally. Even though we thank God for technology, making it possible to view a service remotely, remember that you are in a relationship and online relationships are not sustainable over a long period of time. They will begin to suffer.

Also, don’t stop tithing and giving. Tithing is NOT a debt you owe, it’s a seed you sow! To prepare for the evil day to come, God wants us to tithe. Because if God can trust you with money, God can trust you with the true riches – which are people (Luke 16:11).

When we tithe it shows that God’s House is a priority to us. When Nehemiah rebuilt God’s Temple – he had to bring back order:

Nehemiah 13:8–12 (ESV)
And I was very angry, and I threw all the household furniture of Tobiah out of the chamber. Then I gave orders, and they cleansed the chambers, and I brought back there the vessels of the house of God, with the grain offering and the frankincense.
10 I also found out that the portions of the Levites had not been given to them, so that the Levites and the singers, who did the work, had fled each to his field. 11 So I confronted the officials and said, “Why is the house of God forsaken?” And I gathered them together and set them in their stations. 12 Then all Judah brought the tithe of the grain, wine, and oil into the storehouses.

When we tithe to our local church – we support the ministry and what God is doing there. Many people struggle with giving ten percent of their income to the church because they miss this revelation:
The Hebrew word for tithe is מַעֲשֵׂר (mǎ·ʿǎśēr) When you remove the “Mem” (M in our English alphabet) – you are left with “âser”, which means rich or wealthy.

Can you see it? True riches and wealth are hidden and found within the tithe! Family, when we don’t forsake the House of God, we will prosper even in the midst of famine! Why? Because of these three promises to the believer in Psalm 46:1-5:

  1. God is in the midst of her,
  2. She shall not be moved;
  3. God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.

God shall help her (the church), just at the break of dawn – when it seems darkest, when it feels like you cannot anymore – know this: HELP IS AROUND THE CORNER! Rhema West family: I believe our best days are ahead of us. But now is not the time to prioritize things that are not of eternal value. Let us stand up and BE the church God has called us to be.

See you Sunday!
