24 Oct It’s not over!
My dear friend, how are you doing as we approach the end of 2019?
At the beginning of the year, God gave us a theme and a promise that 2019 will be a Breakout Year. Do you feel like that was true for you or did it feel more like a “breakdown” year for you? Are you still waiting on some of the promises to manifest in your life? Or have you seen the fulfilment of God’s promises in your life? No matter which it is, let me remind you of the Word that God gave us:
John 6:16–21 (NKJV)
Now when evening came, His disciples went down to the sea, got into the boat, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was already dark, and Jesus had not come to them. Then the sea arose because a great wind was blowing. So when they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near the boat; and they were afraid. But He said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.” Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.
This verse says that “immediately the boat was at the land where they were going”. I want to encourage you that your immediately can happen at any moment. This promise to our church family wasn’t only for the first part of 2019 – but to the very end. I truly pray that this will encourage you.
Expect an outpouring of His blessings that will overtake you and follow you. Not only for this year but ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE as the Psalmist says. Don’t give up on this year yet … especially when God’s not done with it.
