Salvation prayer

Do you want to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour and enter a living relationship with Him? We encourage you to pray this prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me and dying on the cross to pay the price for my sin. I believe You are the Son of God, my Saviour. I receive the forgiveness Your blood bought for me. Thank you that I don’t have to live my life without You anymore. You live in my heart through the Holy Spirit. Because of Your finished work on the cross I have an abundant and eternal life from today and into heaven. Thank you, Father, that I am now Your beloved child. Amen.

You are now God’s child! Read these Scriptures to be sure that you are saved: John 1:12 – those who believe in Him, are His children, 1 John 5:12-13 – you can know that you have eternal life, John 10:27-28 – no one can snatch you out of His hand.

God’s perfect way

Consider the benefits of light. There is no cure for darkness, except light. Our source of light determines how well we will cope in darkness. If I light a candle, I will only see so far, but if I light a bright electric light, it illuminates the whole house!

2 Samuel 22:29-31 (NKJV)
“For You are my lamp, O Lord;
The Lord shall enlighten my darkness.
30 For by You I can run against a troop;
By my God I can leap over a wall.
31 As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
Darkness is a reality in this life. It comes to all of us. Darkness inhibits our movements and our activities; whether it is a physical or spiritual darkness. But the great news is that God is our guarantee of light in times of darkness!
If I would try and illuminate my own life, it is like lighting a candle. But the light of God is like a floodlight. He makes us stronger than our natural abilities (v.30). With God, the impossible comes within our reach. He makes what is inaccessible to us in our own abilities, accessible to us by His grace and strength.
Even if lockdown has knocked you down, God makes it possible for you to get up and carry on. His way is perfect. Not perfect in the way WE think perfect is, but perfect according to His will to grow and mold us into His image.
May you experience how God is your light and strength and shield today.
