Every Sunday at 9:00am.
We are all about encountering Jesus! Expect friendly smiles, helping hands, people from every stage and walk of life, energetic praise, and an inspiring message from the Word of God relevant to your daily life.
It is important to us that children feel part of the bigger picture of church. We include them in the main service during the worship time to experience this as a family. After the announcements, children aged 3-11 years are dismissed to their classes that run during the sermon time. See more under Thrive Kids.
We have an area in the adjoining hall for parents with babies and toddlers under 3 years old. Audio and video is provided. A changing station, some chairs and toys are set out. Here youngsters can have some room under the watchful eyes of their parents while adults can still follow the sermon
Teenagers also have their own lesson time during the 9:00 sermon at every second Sunday service or as arranged by the available teachers. Here youngsters can interact in an engaging manner around the grace and gospel of Christ. See more under Thrive Youth.
We practice the baptism of believers and not of infants. If you’ve received Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour and have not yet been baptized by immersion in water, we warmly encourage you to contact us for more information. Pamphlets and sign-up forms are available at the information desk on Sundays, or enquire via email. We’d love to include you at the next available baptism opportunity
Since we don’t baptize infants in water, we have the practice to dedicate children to the Lord during a church service. Contact us to make the necessary arrangements at the next available date on the events calendar.
We commend couples serious about sharing their lives who want to get married as instituted by the Lord. Our pastor offers his marriage officer duties only to members, depending on his availability, at a venue arranged by the couple. A pre-marital course of approximately 9 sessions is compulsory. This should be arranged as soon as you’ve set a date for the wedding.
Most definitely. We believe that returning ten percent of your income to the Lord activates the blessing of God over your finances. It also ensures the continued operation of the local church where you are spiritually fed and makes you a partner in kingdom work. Learn more every week during the short teaching before tithes and offerings are received at our services.
For security reasons we encourage the electronic transfer of tithes and offerings. We also have a separate account to save towards having our own property. Please make use of the details below.

We see the financial contributions made by members as their tithes and offerings brought to the Lord to continue His kingdom work through this local church. We believe that He will honour their giving and bring to pass the promises of Malachi 3:10-12 in their lives as they worship Him this way (learn more). We would just like to clarify that we are a registered Non-Profit Company (NPC) with CIPC. We are not registered as Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) with the Department of Social Development or with SARS as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) for Article 18A exemption as we do not qualify for this. Therefore we cannot issue tax certificates for money received from individuals.
Jesus was not inhibited by location when it came to spending time with people. When looking for a venue to meet in the West Rand, it was a challenge to find one that met our needs. When we approached Silverstar about using their banqueting facilities, they were most helpful. We are actually renting the ballroom at Silverstar, and not the actual casino. However, we love being in a venue that is accessible, offers covered parking and is air-conditioned. And wherever believers meet, the Lord shows up!
The casino is not our focus, the Good News of Jesus Christ is. We realize that religiously minded Christians might find it upsetting that we meet at a casino and that is truly sad because that is where Christ would have been. He was not afraid to mingle with ‘sinners’. He was called their friend. He came for sinners, not for people who think they are perfect. Many Christians forget that an unchurched person must also feel welcome in church. Though we do not condone gambling and its destructive fruits, we do not condemn the gambler. We want to make it as clear as possible: God is not mad at you – He is madly in love with you! Whatever you’re struggling with in life, He’s willing, able and eager to help you.
Our weekly pre-service prayer meeting is open to all church attendees as well as our volunteers. The focus is prayer for the service and church in general. Sundays 7:45 in an available boardroom at our venue.
Get a membership brochure with an application form from our information desk any Sunday. You can also read more under Become a member and submit your application online.
