Salvation prayer

Do you want to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour and enter a living relationship with Him? We encourage you to pray this prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me and dying on the cross to pay the price for my sin. I believe You are the Son of God, my Saviour. I receive the forgiveness Your blood bought for me. Thank you that I don’t have to live my life without You anymore. You live in my heart through the Holy Spirit. Because of Your finished work on the cross I have an abundant and eternal life from today and into heaven. Thank you, Father, that I am now Your beloved child. Amen.

You are now God’s child! Read these Scriptures to be sure that you are saved: John 1:12 – those who believe in Him, are His children, 1 John 5:12-13 – you can know that you have eternal life, John 10:27-28 – no one can snatch you out of His hand.

Open Your Gift

At the end of the classic movie ‘The God’s must be crazy’, the San Bushman Xi gets paid for his help as a tracker. The Europeans give him paper money but it has no value to him because in his context people don’t have or need money. So as he walks home, he allows the money to blow away in the wind.

Many Christians are like that too. We have received something but we don’t know its value and we allow it fall at the wayside. Then we pray to God for something that He’s already given us but that we didn’t realise we had. This leads to feeling frustrated with what we see as His non-responsiveness. Or we start feeling that He is purposefully withholding things from us.

We cannot blame God when we don’t make use of the things He has already provided! It’s the same as being excited about a wrapped gift in your hands, but never opening it.

You have the gift from God. It is already bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross. Open it!

Ephesians 1:3, 6-7 (NKJV)
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ … He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

God is not still waiting to do anything. He has already done it. Father God has provided for forgiveness, healing, deliverance, provision and much more. He has already said yes and amen to all the blessings He proclaimed in the Bible (2 Corinthians 1:20). They are ours because we belong to Jesus.

The blessings become reality in your life when you believe them and choose to receive them. Do that today. He wants you to!
