Salvation prayer

Do you want to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour and enter a living relationship with Him? We encourage you to pray this prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me and dying on the cross to pay the price for my sin. I believe You are the Son of God, my Saviour. I receive the forgiveness Your blood bought for me. Thank you that I don’t have to live my life without You anymore. You live in my heart through the Holy Spirit. Because of Your finished work on the cross I have an abundant and eternal life from today and into heaven. Thank you, Father, that I am now Your beloved child. Amen.

You are now God’s child! Read these Scriptures to be sure that you are saved: John 1:12 – those who believe in Him, are His children, 1 John 5:12-13 – you can know that you have eternal life, John 10:27-28 – no one can snatch you out of His hand.

Moving Forward

Have you ever sat at a traffic light behind a vehicle that doesn’t start moving quickly enough to your liking after the light has turned green? Sometimes it looks like that in our spiritual lives too. The light is green but it’s like some people are still waiting on a signal to get moving.

It is time for us to get going and step into all God has for us as individual believers and the local church. The current condition of the world demands the church to rise up and embrace their role.

The book of Nehemiah chapter 1 paints a clear picture that Jerusalem at that time was suffering the same fate that the world is suffering today: there was crime, chaos and corruption all around. Then Nehemiah went home with a mandate to rebuild Jerusalem’s walls.

Nehemiah 2:17-18 (NKJV)
Then I said to them, “You see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lies in waste, and its gates are burned with fire. Come and let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach.” 18 And I told them of the hand of my God which had been good upon me, and also of the king’s words that he had spoken to me. So they said, “Let us rise up and build.” Then they set their hands to this good work.

I believe that the story of the walls of Jerusalem parallels the story of the New Testament church. The restoration of South Africa is also tied to the restoration of the church. As the church steps into its role and responsibility – so the whole nation will be built up. Only God can bring this nation back to itself. But God always uses people to accomplish His purpose!

Jesus Christ told His followers: “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

God wants all people to get to know Him through a relationship. This relationship is made possible by Christ’s death and resurrection. The method God uses to bring His salvation and deliverance to every person’s heart and home is through local churches across the globe. He has given us His mandate.

The light is green, let’s get going!
