What we believe about how God is, will either draw us into an intimate relationship with Him or cause us to distance ourselves from Him.

This is super sad because He heartily desires a personal relationship with YOU!

Run to Him, not from Him. Don’t feel that you have to fix yourself or clean up your life before you can turn to Him. He is God. He already knows your mess! And who better to help you fix your life than the One who extended boundless love towards you in His Son Jesus Christ?
 
When I got a sewing machine I first had to read the instruction manual before I could use it. Even then I benefited from some lessons by an experienced seamstress before I could get the most out of it.
 
Your heavenly Father made you. He designed you from before the creation of the world. He knows how you will ‘work’ best. Let Him restore your life based on His original design and calling for you, individually. Then allow Him to teach you how to get the most out yourself and your life by following HIS instruction manual.
 
Trust His good intentions toward you and then move closer to Him – not further away.
