Salvation prayer

Do you want to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour and enter a living relationship with Him? We encourage you to pray this prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me and dying on the cross to pay the price for my sin. I believe You are the Son of God, my Saviour. I receive the forgiveness Your blood bought for me. Thank you that I don’t have to live my life without You anymore. You live in my heart through the Holy Spirit. Because of Your finished work on the cross I have an abundant and eternal life from today and into heaven. Thank you, Father, that I am now Your beloved child. Amen.

You are now God’s child! Read these Scriptures to be sure that you are saved: John 1:12 – those who believe in Him, are His children, 1 John 5:12-13 – you can know that you have eternal life, John 10:27-28 – no one can snatch you out of His hand.

An Expectant Heart

Psalm 84:10 (NLT)
10 A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked.

Today’s Scripture is one of my favourite passages. It shows me that the gathering of the saints – church – should be GOOD! It should be a highlight in your week. There is something about the saints gathering that brings on a corporate anointing that breaks bondages, destroys yokes and liberates God’s people!

A lady in our church once sent us this testimony:

‘I came to church last week with a very heavy heart as I had to see my oncologist the following week with x-rays and ultrasounds for my three-month checkup. On my way to church I told the Lord I am coming with an expectant heart believing for a miracle. I was so blessed when Pastor Norman asked those who wanted God to meet their needs to stand up and he included healing in the prayer. All praise to the Lord, I got my miracle! All my tests were excellent. Pastor, I just want to thank you for being sensitive to the Holy Spirit. God bless you and all glory goes to the Lord and His faithfulness.’

My friend, when the challenges of life hit, when the pressures mount – don’t run FROM God, run TO God! A difficult season is not the time to stay away from church. That is precisely the time when you should come expectant like our dear sister said in her testimony.

Become favour-minded and know that God is on your side! Come expectant that God will impart the wisdom your need in your situation. Come expectant that as you listen to God’s Word and worship together with the saints God is busy orchestrating things in the spiritual realm on your behalf. While you are sitting at the feet of Jesus, He is fighting your battles for you.

When the church in the book of Acts met together ‘in one accord’ the Holy Spirit was poured out (Acts 2). I believe that this miracle still continues today. I encourage you to come to church with an EXPECTATION of prayers being answered, JOY being restored and BLESSING to flow!
